About Marcos Aycox – The Tatted Violinist

From the rhythm of São Paulo streets to the lights of major U.S. venues, Marcos Aycox’s journey is as unconventional as his stage presence. Born in Bauru, São Paulo, Brazil, Marcos grew up in a humble family where music was both refuge and inspiration. He began piano lessons at age eight, and within two years he discovered the violin — an instrument that would become the voice of his story.

By age 14 he was already regarded as a professional, teaching music in his hometown and performing in concert halls, weddings and orchestras. His love for music and desire for expression led him to the United States in 2014, where he continued his studies at the University of Southern Mississippi and embraced a new chapter in a new language.

Beyond the Ordinary

Marcos is not just a violinist—he’s an immersive experience. He’s performed for clients who demand more than background music; he’s been engaged for luxury events, corporate launches, and high-profile experiences that require artistry, showmanship, and versatility.

One of his crowning achievements: performing at the legendary Carnegie Hall in New York in 2019—an achievement few achieve and fewer still in his unique style. Based now in South Florida (Wilton Manors), Marcos continues to bring his global talent, rich back-story and rebellious heart to events across the U.S. and beyond.

The Fusion of Elegance & Edge

Marcos’s signature brand—“The Tatted Violinist”—is built on the very duality at his core: classical refinement meets fearless self-expression. On stage you’ll see the sleek lines of a violin and the bold artwork of tattoos. You’ll hear the deep emotion of strings and the raw energy of a performer who refuses to be confined by genre or expectation.

His mantra is simple and powerful: “The Sound of Passion. The Art of Rebellion.” It captures the heart of his performances—where each note carries intensity, each show breaks convention, and each audience becomes a witness to something both beautiful and untamed.
